 Turducken is not from scratch, and not a true technical turducken, being instead a "roll"  (or loaf, as I prefer to call it.)  It is, however, authentically delivered from Louisiana.  Sadly the mincemeat pie also will likely consist of pre-fab filling poured into pre-fab crust.  Because I didn't know it would take months to prepare the filling and because there is no one I currently love enough to make pie crust for.  Unless I change my mind.  Which is possible.  Damn, now I want to make fresh crust.
