Gold Ride Carriages

WOW !

I just watched the Aussie broadcast from the park today, and I was amazed to see and hear that each of the original 1955 attractions has had one carriage painted Gold just for the day. I've seen the Dumbo & the Teacup, as well as the first powered vehicle (1903 Franklin) from the original parade.

I'd love to see if it IS just for the day, or whether they keep it for a while - if they do, it's bound to make a lot of kiddies upset in line - "But Daddy, I want to ride in the gold Dumbo"
