I need some advice...

Ms. T really wants at least the first book of the series for Christmas. She's 11 and it has become the big thing in her 5th grade class.

My concern is how appropriate the series will be for her. I understand the first book is fairly innocuous, but what should I know about the later series (Alex's previous post worries me a bit)? Ms. T DEVOURS books. She finished the entire Potter series when she was 10, has read and re-read the Warriors (and now the Seekers) series among countless others. Even though she may only get #1 for Christmas, she'll have it read in a day and will want to move on.

Any help will be appreciated!
