Heehee!

I'll say this much....after being among the largest crowd of Disney enthusiasts I've ever seen, and thrilling to the ultimate Disneyland tribute fireworks show among many of them, it does make everything seem a bit bigger than before. Disneyland is our land, and the "our" means a whole lot of people, from those that built it to the hardcore fans to the casual visitors to the wide-eyed 5 year-olds. The history of the place is now officially legend...it is a part of our culture, our mindset.....and all the care that's been put back into it makes every tiny bit of it loom larger to me than it has had since I got my AP in 1999. It's kind of a paradoxical mix of vindication and humble pie.

This whole thing is doing weird things to us....it's like the ultimate drug for us withdrawal-wracked Disney fans.
