When my youngest daughter was still in nappies and wanted to do finger painting while I programmed, she decided to choose all of the pretty red things in the pantry. That would be Tabasco Sauce, Cayenne Pepper, Hot Paprika and some Chilli Powder.

She then mixed all of the pretty red things on the top a industrial-sized mayonaise bucket lid. After painting a pretty picture of a three-eyed something or other on the lid, she touched her crotch, and all hell broke loose.

When she came screaming out of the kitchen to the desk where I was programming, I looked at her hands and nearly died for fear she had cut herself..until the acrid paste almost ripped my eyeballs out of their sockets.

As I recall, it's the only bath she ever fought to have...
