 Ugh, mine are so picky, if I didn't make them both a lunch, they really would go hungry. My daughter 
must have peeled, sliced cucumber with lime and a little salt. My son 
needs to have sharp cheddar cheese, which I 
need to cut into the perfect sized cubes, plus 2 cinnamon graham crackers. 
It's like ToriBear's cat and the flossing. Once they got me to make it for them, they knew I would! Meh, so they get what they want for school lunch. I'm ok with that. I even write notes and put them in their lunches. I figure when they get older, they won't want anything to do with the dorky food I make them. I'm probably weird about it and overcompensating because I was a latchkey kid and had to have hot lunch every day throughout my school years, and my mom didn't cook at all. If I had asked for sliced cucumbers? Geesh. Can't imagine what the answer would have been.
