FWIW, these are all Seagate products (I've had good success with Seagate). And with where pricing is right now, it doesn't make any sense to buy anything less than 1TB

I went with Best Buy because that's where I was. I asked them to move my iTunes library to the external drive but it looks like they only copied it.
But they did do a cleanup for me and it runs faster. It was embarassing though because the laptop is such a mess, inside and outside. I felt like I brought my underwear drawer in and dumped it out on the counter.

I don't need 1TB, trust me. I'm just trying to get a little more life out of a 5-year old laptop with a 30G hard drive.
