I have so many memories of you - almost too many to just select one - but I think I'll go with the memory of you with a gorgeous vintage-looking swim cap, turning slowly around, synchronized-swimming solo in a perfect, secluded pool. At that moment we were all in such a happy, such a... juiced-up creative state, surrounded by Beat swank and inspiration. It was the beginnings, I think, of what we are capable of and what we can come to be. And there in your mermaid queen cap, performing for us - thinking quietly to yourself - you were at the center of it.
