I thought I did it pretty well, in fact. I coddled him as much as I'm capable of.

On the subject of dinner, a 7:45 start means that Isaac and I can make it in time. We are happy and sad to say farewell to the Lashes, and simply plain happy to welcome dlrp bobazot.

On the subject of Mark's suggestion ... please let me know exactly where I was unkind.

We wanted to watch fireworks in the Park this past weekend. Made Soup Kitchen ressies one hour earlier than the big group, were seated on time. Big Group arrived. Fun ensued. Fireworks from the Park well planned for ... never happened.
Or perhaps it was ...

Anyway, I know you're going through a rough patch, but please don't jumpt to the wrong conclusions. The reason I posed for fireworks not being probable had everything to do with commonly-experienced Resort time management, and nothing to do with thinking your idea unworthy.

I honestly believe I was being very considerate, and no I don't think I could have or should have phrased things differently. I'm not the most beat around the bush guy, but I extended Mark every courtesy I felt appropriate under his circumstances.

But there's only so far I will coddle.
