So, I couldn't care less about my dreams. I am more than skeptical that they carry much meaning, and even if they do, I find I don't really accept that anyone's found a reliable way to separate what might be meaningful from what is random background neuron-firing. So I don't really bother trying to remember them as I never really wake up thinking, "OMG, that dream meant so much to me!"
But today I made an effort to retain a dream I had this morning, simply because it was so ludicrously bland. It was all about me recounting to CP something I heard on This American Life. And it wasn't even some fascinating story I'd heard. It was a bit from the beginning or end of the podcast where they're letting the listeners know about upcoming shows/events.
Yes sir, my amazing dream world of public radio scheduling!
