As if they weren't going through enough in Santa Barbara (with the fires), there was just a 4.2 earthquake in Ojai (which is about 30 miles SE of Santa Barbara).

Not very big as earthquakes go (IMO) and may not have been felt in Santa Barbara, but it certainly can't help already frayed nerves.

And speaking of the Santa Barbara fires, my sister lives in Santa Ynez. While the fires are not (yet) near them, she did come home from work (in Carpenteria) early. The San Marco pass (Highway 154) is already closed and the 101 (her only practical alternative) might soon. It would really suck if she got stranded
