My daughter will, apparently, be dissecting a kitty. That worse then frogs, pigs, hoppers and sharks. Doesn't seem to bother her though so... whatever I guess. It's not like her not dissecting one will save it or something.
I don't think I'd be able to do it myself. I have a special fondness for kitties over pretty much all other animals.
