About the time Kill Bill came out, I was hanging outside at a comic book show waiting for my friend, when David Carradine walked passed me. "What a week," I said as he casually strolled by, puffing on a ciggie. "What -- a -- Week" He looked at me and sort of smirked and I laughed. The line doesn't mean anything and has no significance but I just could not think of anything else to say. When at a loss for words around a celebrity I find its best to blurt out some bit of nonsense.
I was always a big Kung Fu fan back in 73, so it was a treat getting to see him.
