I'm honestly curious here but which law did he break and was convicted for. I'm aware of an unrelated conviction in which he was pardoned by Reagan on the grounds that he had "acted on high principle to bring an end to the terrorism that was threatening our nation." I wasn't aware that he broke the law concerning Watergate however.
