Widow Tweed drove her car while someone hidden inside the float operated a "Todd" puppet. What I can't remember for sure is if the puppet sat next to her in the car, or if it somehow rode on the back of the car (it was 28 years ago, after all!) Amos Slade (the hunter) drove his truck behind her and a person in a "Copper" costume stood and waved from the back of the truck.
