Actually, the more people I
complain to ask, the more apparent it is that I'm in a minority, regardless of place of origin. Apparently most people that live here - whether born and raised, or transplanted - hate the hot summer. I find it hilarious. I seem to have the right body metabolism/chemistry/whatever for this climate, as I'm cold all the time and adore heat. Yes, I'm a reptile, give me a hot rock in the sun any day.
This ugly, brooding, makes-you-squint weather is the worst possible for me. Puts me in an awful mood, even if, or rather, especially if it clears up. Stupid f'n wishy washy weather. SHOULD I WEAR A SWEATER OR NOT????
I do love rain, but that's probably only because it's a novelty to me, and nicely decisive.
