Really?

I found that a LOT of people in So Cal complained about June gloom, and then proceeded to complain about the heat later in the summer. Same in Utah, same in Michigan, same (presumably) everywhere.

Utah example: we just had nearly a month of rain every day. Up until this week (Monday, Tuesday Wednesday(yesterday), to be specific) we only had two days without rain in June. Everyone was bitching and moaning about OMG we just wantz the sunz! I just think isn't it awesome that our reservoirs are between 80 and 100%?! Plus, I know I'll hear the bitching come July/August. By the time August comes around, all this pretty growth will be dead. The real dog days of summer.

Michigan example: I remember this from being there, but Facebook has served as a reminder that all that complaining takes place there too. First it's the snow, how cold, how cold, how cold. Then, for about a week, everyone was all stoked about the awesome weather. Now, it's time to cry about the heat and humidity.

I guess all I'm thinking is that no matter where you are, there's always something for someone to complain about. It may seem like everyone feels a certain way, but a lot of times it ends up being random people voicing an opinion. It's why there's a Storm Watch for a drizzle, and local TV personalities making the same damned comments no matter where you live - and it's always "What about this ____."

Well, I better go get to work. I'd rather complain about work.
