Well, since this isn't a bridal shower, this totally depends on your relationship with the couple....are you closer with the girl or the guy or both equally? Definitely check their registry (if they are registered) and see if they registered for anything pretty and non-utilitarian.

Lingerie is a great pre-wedding gift (you could get matching boxers too) but that totally depends on your relationship to the couple, and if they're cool enough to not get horribly embarrassed by opening the gift. Or you could follow CoasterMatt's advice....
