That recipe in Australia would be called a
Yorkshire Pudding and we serve it with roast beef.
Obviously we don't use sugar or syrup with it when serving, we just pour gravy over it.
I see on the Wiki page it actually cross-references with "Dutch Baby Pancake" (at the bottom of the page)
