Don't think I've ever had Yorkshire pudding, but while a popover and a Dutch baby are essentially the same thing (eggs, milk, and flour) I find them to be pretty different eating experiences. The middle of a Dutch baby is a different texture and much heavier.

Saturday morning's when I was a kid I'd make on that size while our parents were still in bed and we'd pour half a bag (it seemed) of sugar over it and the three of us would eat the whole thing while watching cartoons.
Obviously, this was before we'd reached the ages that my sisters and I decided we'd rather kill each other than watch TV together.
