I haven't met many Hollywood types but I also have met two members of the MASH cast. I've met William Christopher and Gary Burghoff. Those two guys are the absolute soul of generosity and that is no gush, just the truth. For many years, they have raised money for a group home for autistic adults.
I'm smiling now, just thinking about those two.
So. My beagle son Jack went AWOL. We have a good fence around the back yard. He was out there for a few minutes and then ... he wasn't there. Had someone let him in the house? A frantic search didn't find Jack.
Then the hubbo happened to look out the front door: Jack! He had somehow gotten out of the back ... but how?
Had he jumped on top of the compost bin and jumped over the fence???
No. He took the traditional route: he dug his way out. We found the hole and stopped it up with a big rock. I can't tell you how green about the gills this makes me.
