I have a feeling they are gonna stay PPC, instead of going to x86. Why? Because, even if they made a copy of OSX for x86, all PPC apps would have to be recompiled, a huge undertaking. However, I do have a feeling Intel will be able to produce chips in a greater amount than IBM can, and that the G5 will get a needed speed boost (and possible dual core?) from this. Sounds good to me....as long as we don't get the stupid little Intel sound after all Apple commercials and the sticker on all Apple boxes....
