I have good news that I think I can actually divulge now.
I fell in love with a high concept pet boutique that is located in downtown LA and approached them maybe 9 months ago about opening a Long Beach location. It has gone from "who is this woman on crack" to "we're interested, can you give me a tour of LB" to "looking for locations" to "signing a lease for a store on 2nd Street in Belmont Shore". The lease was signed yesterday, the keys are ours tomorrow, the built-out starts immediately and our opening date is October 1. I'm so excited I could scream but I'm also scared shytless. Change is good but man is it scary! But, this combines all of my loves into one great package. So, it's back to work full time for me (and Thurston gets to come to work too!). Check out the web site.
