So I'm on my way home from work, driving down a busy four lane road when I see something fall out of an SUV going the other way. At first I thought it was a stuffed animal like a teddy bear but after it finished rolling it got up and started running between the cars. It was a little brown dog.
I quickly pulled over on a side street and ran back to see about the little guy. He was on the other side of the road but as I was trying to get to him, he came to me. Across four lanes of heavy traffic.

Luckily he made it, and came right up to me. A beautiful little Pomeranian. Friendly as could be but unfortunately not wearing any ID.
The SUV he jumped out of never stopped, and was long gone but I figured they just had not noticed and would be back shortly....
So I waited..... waited..... waited.... Talked to a bunch of people walking by, waited some more until finally the SUV returned with another little Pomeranian in the back. So I put the dog back into the car and the guy driving was like. "Uh thanks". No remorse, almost no response at all and just drove off (with the windows still down for god sakes). It kind of pissed me off. The dog fell out of his car on a freaking major road. I regret I didn't just keep the little guy.
