Happy Birthday, H.G. Wells
Perplexed by today's obvious homage on Google:



A quick scroll-over revealed it's H.G.'s birthday today (and not the anniversary of the War of the World's radio broadcast, which is Oct. 30).


It really puts me in the mood to watch Time After Time, but I don't have it. I think Isaac and I are going to watch War of the Worlds, inspired by today's Google illustration.
