He was not well known in the US, but he was part of the boy-band
Boyzone which was huge in the UK. He came out as gay ten years ago while still in the band.
As of this writing, details are not yet know. As we know is that he was on vacation with his husband Andrew Cowles while on vacation in Mallorca.
