The first barrel
There's a great close up shot of the barrel and the clamp that is not clamped to any line. Shaw's reaction to that is great.
The special effect with the dart hitting the shark is pretty cool because not only does it hit the shark but it squirts blood too. Love that.
As the barrel sinks there's a cool shot of Quint on the bow plank thing. The sun sets behind him. He has a strangely calm look on his face. Classic Spielberg use of big sky and clouds.
