I believe Alex and others have said the same thing, but I I think these are two different things:
  1. YAGE-ing (the act act of making a flamboyant exit for the purpose of being an attention whore)
  2. disconnecting socially

One can still YAGE quite successfully, but it takes a true effort to disconnect completely



And for those who don't know, YAGE is an acronym for Yet Another Grand Exit.
