Watching this did remind me of the rather amazing "behind the scenes" doc on the Phantom Menace DVD, from which several clips were presented. One that he briefly shows but does not mention anything about - Lucas is seen auditioning a few boys for the part of Anakin, and it's finally down to two, Jake Lloyd and another young man who is noticeably much, much better. We see the historic moment when George makes his unfortunate casting decision, and, as I recall, someone, possibly Rick Berman, asks him is he's sure, and he sort of hesitates and then says, basically, "I've got a good feeling about this kid." Ay-yi-yi.

The YouTube video does present what was by far the most fascinating moment of the documentary, in which we see Lucas and Co. after screening a rough cut, and it's clear that even George recognizes that the movie is less than great. He immediately begins to talk himself out of trying to fix it and makes with the justifications, but it's obvious that he's aware of at least some of the many many flaws, and so is his creative team. This doc was far more interesting than the film itself.
