Not that I would not in the least be surprised if the Grammy's were as rigged as Alex heard,but the awards are for
recording artists, so it doesn't really matter how well or badly the winners perform live.
Jack Nicholson may be a horrible stage actor (I'm not accusing him of such, I've never seen him act on stage, just using it as a hypothetical), but that wouldn't have any bearing one way or the other one whether he deserves the 3 acting Oscars he's won because that's not what the Oscars are awarded for.
Now, I'm not particularly impressed with Taylor Swift as a recording artist, so I wouldn't have voted for her to win, but her ability (or lack thereof) doesn't really enter into the equation.
