The Blind Side? I went simply because I knew it was going to get some nominations but I was very surprised, both by the movie as a whole and her performance in particular. I don't know if she was among the top five of the year but I know she was better than at least one of the other nominees (Meryl Streep in
Julie & Julia; not that Streep was bad, just not particularly noteworthy)
