This is the first year in forever I can't use the simple return, so I did mine thru Turbo Tax over a month ago. But - ugh - they say I owe $5,000. I've been so busy trying to come up with that money, I haven't sat down and gone over the returns with a fine-tooth. I want to do that this week, and hope for some error that means I owe less $. I doubt that will be the case, but I can't fork over that kind of money without making sure I owe it. Of course, if I understood how to do this type of return, I could have done it myself in the first place.

I'm sure my returns will be postmarked April 14.
