Thanks for the kind words. He's doing okay - more afraid of the dentist and being made fun of in school then hurting. He didn't cry at all but did get upset when he looked in the mirror and saw just how many were missing. His hands got a scratched up and his leg a little bit but otherwise, nothing.
He literally landed on his mouth and knocked them all out. I think it's less painful then breaking them because of the nerve going with the tooth but I don't know for sure. I was just so surprised he wasn't in terrible pain as it looked awful.
We were advised not to give him anything cold because it would cause a lot of pain and no straws or he could suck out a blood clot and make it start bleeding again. yes. ick.
Maybe some Ensure or something for a day or two? They're still waiting to see the dentist.
