I disagree. I think it was clear that they'd discover themselves in a limbo-
like place, that would turn out to be something more. That in the end it would be saying, "The concept of Limbo is a convenient and simplistic summary of what goes on here, but misses the REAL point and detail." That's what I felt the show was promising, and I truly believe they thought they could pull that level of intellectual interest off. So yeah, I consider it a lazy cop out to just fall back on, "Nope, literal Christian Limbo is all we've got for ya'." It's just like MP's link said, 6 seasons to end up at, "When you die you see all your loved ones and walk into the light." I've read that book. Yaaaaawwwwwwwwn.
