Yes, but, according to data found on
this site (though there may be better data out there, but I am too lazy to look further), SLC is 83.0% Mormon, 8.8% Catholic, with no other religions listed as above 1%. Since this survey shows the lowest percentage of any one religion (before "other") as 0.5%, it could be presumed that there are no more than 900 or so Jews in SLC - not a big demographic (based on an estimated population of SLC at 181,698).
However,
this site (which amusingly is the "Jewish News of Greater
Phoenix", reporting on
Salt Lake City with a by-line of
New York, but I digress) puts the Jewish population of SLC at "more than 3,500 Jews."
But still not a big demographic.
