Then I hit Mauricio's(yeah more mexican food it's Bakersfield whadda ya expect)for many Prickly Pear Margarita's...two thumbs up for the margaritas(well I saw 4 thumbs)but the food bleech. Nice outside cantina though.

There are more places to discover here and I'll be sure to post them upon finding them. I've been enjoying my cocktails on my back patio lately though, cheaper and I can pick my own music and I can take a dip if it gets too hot
Roadhouse, same parking lot as Chuy's, has good food and better drinks. Their Roadhouse Koolaide is killer!! Stay away from the one at California and 99, it is NOT the same.

We "regulars" of the other Chuy's call the one you are referring to as the Disney Chuy's. It is huge. I prefer our little hole in the wall on this side of town... it is a lot like the old TV show Cheers. You walk in and everyone knows you and the bartenders have their drinks waiting for you when they see your car in the lot.

About the only place we go out to drink to is Chuy's-every Friday night.
