| And my point was that there are plenty of examples of American adaptations that are not "horrific".  You may not be a fan of some of them (like I said, I'm no fan of Three's Company, but that doesn't mean I think it's horrific) and an article that claims that "everything" that's been adapted is worthless seems like a pretty lame article.
 As with any show, the quality has to do with the effort and creativity that goes into it, not with its origin.
