this is an excellent silent film.
Yes, Janet Gaynor has a really unfortunate wig, but Sunrise is one of my all time favorite silent films. A story of two humans and the hunky George O'Brien is no slouch. The tale may be a a little dated, but it stuill works for me after numerous screenings. It's great to see on the big screen. F.W. Murnau directed and Karl Struss was the cinamatographer.
