I'm trying to find a certain Chuck Jones cartoon, or rather, character.
I've got this mental image of a Chuck Jones character with big blue eyes, in that curvy adorable cutesy style of his.
Cindy's eye's have whites. The ones I'm thinking of are entirely blue.
After some Googling I thought I had the right short,
Rocket-Bye Baby, since the style seemed so right on. I Netflixed a DVD, but it turns out that neither Mot nor Yob ever open their eyes from the squint you see here. (Great print, BTW, first time I've watched an Merrie Melodie on our HDTV.)
I'm beginning to worry that it's from Jones' version of The Phantom Tollbooth, which I watched a bunch as a kid. The DVD isn't on Netflix, but no way am I buying that movie just for a screen cap.
If someone knows what the hell I'm talking about I'd appreciate some help, because it's messing with my head.
