I'd say go ahead and buy it from Larry Edmunds. It will show them there is a demand for it and hopefully they'll keep stocking it after August and Cinecon in September. In the long run it will be good for it to be available in the bookstore.
I'm working with my agent to possibly submit the book (now that it's done) to Chronicle Books and/or Da Capo Press to see if they'd like to pick it up. It would be a cheaper edition, I'd stand to make a little $$ on it and it would then be available on amazon and elsewhere. Could be a good thing. Who knew this self publishing thing could be so time consuming and something of a headache?
