I suspect that in the end they will be selling black-out passes, that this is a ploy to keep some people away. The amout of AP holders that do not frequent message boards is a lot larger than the amount that do. If they were going to cancel the sale of black-out passes they would have publicized it earlier. To full on cancel the sale of them with no notice is asking for bad press.
