First was at EVOO, off of Kendall Square. While I was hesitant to eat there because of the name (as well as the name of its sister restaurant "Za"), I'm glad I did. It was outstanding. If we didn't have reservations the next night elsewhere I would have gone back in a heartbeat.

The second was Rialto, owned by Jody Adams, a contestant from Top Chef Masters season 2. That's off Harvard Square, in the Charles Hotel. Also some very excellent food, although I liked my meal at EVOO a bit better. The wine pairings with the fixed price menu were excellent.
