It's not a big deal to me. It is more of a curiosity deal. I'm curious as to what the value of a Facebook group, if any, ends up being. Since this group, for the most part exists for talking to each other, I don't see the value of saying that this talking (under the umbrella of the group) will happen in two different places. So either one or the other will fade away or the group will constantly be repeating itself in both locations (as with all the people who simply mirror everything they say to every social network site). Or a value will develop that I'm completely not thinking of.
And that which I find interesting to think about, I talk about.
For people who can't or won't use Facebook (I'm not in that camp because I use Facebook, I just don't use Facebook for the purpose filled by LoT), I can see why it might be a big deal for an important social circle to at least partially move to where they aren't.
