Totally agree. I found myself the very next day wishing that Sunday was the last day for the fireworks and all the decorations.
I really wish there was
something unique and special for the day. Ears and cupcakes, while a nice small touch, just didn't cut it for me as making the day extraordinary. And while I didn't let that prevent me from having the most amazing time thanks to the people I spent it with, I just can't help but imagine a conversation years down the road, "Hey, you were at the 50th too? Wow, remember, ummmmmm, Arnold getting a motorcycle?!"
