Okay, hooked up the monster last night, OMFG, I may never leave home to see a movie again. I did a test run with several movies, old, new, blu-ray and netflix streaming. Absolutely fantastic.

The old films, b/w, the clarity was astonishing, the films had incredible depth and looked almost 3D.

Pixar, Ratatouille, was mind-blowing. During the few minutes of Rataouille, Tango sat up, bolt upright and stared at the TV, cocking her head, totally mezmerized. It was hilarious. I should have tried out a Planet Earth DVD to see how she would have reacted.

Turns out I will need a new HDMI cable as the one I have is a little short. Ordering now!
