Thanks to a REALLY good connection, I just ordered up this bad boy, Yamaha RX-A1000 AVENTAGE Series Home Theater Receiver. I am not paying anywhere near the MSRP shown (and the deep discount is the only reason I went so high up this food chain).

I've lived just fine without it, but now that it is a "go", I want it NOW!
