The best themed home theater I've ever been in, was at a friends house in Sherman Oaks - it was designed to resemble a 1920s movie palace, including a multiple reveal curtain and organ pipes (which cleverly hid the speakers).
The adjoining room acted as a lobby, and featured a candy display cabinet, popcorn popper and soda fountain. The magic room, where all the amps, processors and source material could be found, was behind a hidden panel in the main room.
