Thank you all for the good thoughts. I firmly believe that things happen for a reason.
David listened to me, took it all in, patted my shoulder, rubbed my back and went next door. Our next door neighbor is a really good friend, he is older and David looks up to him and values his advice and opinions. I gave them some time to talk and then I went over. Sure enough he had talked to Karl about it. Karl has also been aware of the things that have been going on in my office. I am glad David has someone to talk to.
When David got back home he was not upset at all. He knows that I have not ever been truly happy at SBC and that things had gotten really bad in the last year. I think this will take a lot of stress off of me (and our marriage). We will get through this and be stronger for it.
Nickolas was worried, but now he seems ok with it (unfortunaty he saw me cry this morning). He just thinks (in his 8 yr old brain) that now we will have the time to do stuff that I had been letting go (like cleaning out his room). Because of the stress I was under I didn't sleep more than an hour or 2 a night during the week. By the time the weekend came I would pretty much sleep right through it.
When one door closes another opens, so it is off to bigger and better things for me!!!
