Proof of insurance for a learner's permit

My daughter has an appt this afternoon to take her written test to get her provisional license (learner's permit).

Do you know if I need to bring proof of insurance for that? My printed copy has, apparently, expired. (not the insurance - just the paper.)

My printer is not working so I'll need to go to staples or something and have this printed. But I'm thinking I may not need it.

I would appreciate a second opinion though. It looks like she needs it for the driving portion of the test but no the written. What do you think?
