He was pretty good, but there were times that his mic would cut out, and they had the base turned up so high that the reverb would wash out the rest of the band, making it hard to hear them. Zep was my top fave back in the day, and I was planning to see them for the first time when John Bonnam died suddenly. So this was kind of my chance to go back in time and see them, even if it was only to see someone acting like them.

Even though I was mostly there to see LZ (and so was the audiance), I was more entertained by Rolling the Stones. The guy that played Mick didn't have the vocal range, but they all did a great job imitating them. And all of the musicians in both bands were quite good. The Stones had two back up singer girls that were outragous.

LZ will Be at the HOB in Sunset aug 26th, and HOB Anahiem sept 16th if you want to catch them.
